Taguchi Challenges Tanaka for WBO Flyweight World Title March 16 in Gifu, Japan
WBO Flyweight World Champion Kosei Tanaka (12-0, 7 KO’s) makes the 4th defense of his title against experienced former WBA titlist Ryoichi Taguchi (27-3-2, 12 KO’s) Saturday, March 16 at the Memorial Center in Gifu, Central Japan.
Both warriors looked impeccable, strong and in great shape while making the limit of the Flyweight division, 112 pounds, during today’s weigh-in ceremony, and may the Best Man Win!
Kōsei Tanaka is currently Ranked #17 on the Boxing Action Magazine P4P List. Tanaka won the WBO Flyweight Championship from Sho Kimura in a Fight of the Year candidate on September 24, 2018. In only 12 professional bouts, Tanaka became the fastest boxer to win world titles in three different weight-classes tying the great Vasyl Lomachenko.
Kosei Tanaka Fights are very entertaining as Tanaka doesn’t back down and turns most of his fights into wars.
