On this day in history, “Terrible” Norris defeats Meldrick Taylor

On this day in history, Terry “Terrible” Norris defended his WBC super welterweight belt for the 7^th time by defeating Meldrick Taylor by TKO in the 4^th round.

Terry Norris is considered one of the best super welterweight in all boxing history. He dominated  the 154 pound division from 1990-1997.

Norris reigned on three occasions as WBC Super Welterweight Champion, during his brilliant career he face and defeated great fighters like John “The Beast” Mugabi, Sugar Ray Leonard, Simon Brown, just to name a few.
