Berchelt vs. Vargas II…can it live up to the drama of their first titanic clash?!

Miguel “Alacrán” Berchelt and Francisco “Bandido” Vargas collide in a rematch. Saturday night, with bot set of fans hoping it’ll surpass the brilliant ferocity of their first unforgettable war.

Berchelt, who snatched Vargas’ super featherweight World Boxing Council title with a fabulous all cylinders firing TKO  victory at two minutes nineteen seconds of the 11th round in January 2017, will try his utmost to defend his belt for the fifth time at the Tucson Arena, located inside the Tucson Convention Center, Arizona. 

While it’s an everything or nothing supreme effort for Vargas to reclaim the crown, after a patiently agonizing two year wait.

 In a Top Rank promotion, in association with Golden Boy Promotions, Berchelt vs. Vargas 2 will be televised by ESPN and ESPN Deportes starting at 10 p.m. ET. Backup fights will be broadcast live starting at 6:30 p.m. ET for ESPN.

Both warriors passed  the official weigh in by tipping 130 pounds.
