The WBC Super Bantamweight female international Champion, Yamileth ¨Yeimi¨ Mercado will make the  first defense of her belt against the dangerous Karina ¨Bella¨ Fernández, in a duel of Chihuahuan warriors.

An attractive boxing extravaganza will be presented on Friday, June 28 at the “Rodrigo M. Quevedo” gymnasium in the city of Chihuahua, and war is declared.  

With the presence of the local Deputy Miguel Latorre, and the Director of the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Chihuahua, Mr. Orlando Villalobos,  the spectacular was announced in the State Congress in Chihuahua, Chihuahua.

From Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, “Yeimi” Mercado (14-2-0, 4 ko’s), will be clashing against the pride of  Ciudad Juarez, “Bella “Fernandez (12-3-1, 3 ko’s), in what will be Mercado’s first defense of her WBC International Super Bantamweight Championship, which she won last February by defeating Venezuelan Alys Sánchez.

The rivalry between Mercado and Fernandez is already well established.  Now, 2 M Promotions directed by Mauricio Madero, will be building on that foundation, staging the clash for the fans.
