On this day in history, Badou Jack conquers WBC belt

Three years ago on this day in history, Badou Jack managed to defeat Anthony Dirrell by majority decision to conquer the WBC super middleweight championship in a very entertaining and competitive bout.

Badou Jack would climb up to the light heavyweight category in 2017 to become a 2-division world champion.

*Anthony Dirrell is respected, admired and recognized for being able to defeat cancer and then conquering the WBC title in 2013. Also, after suffering his first pro defeat with Badou, he managed to regain the crown in February 2019 by defeating Avni Yildirim.
