World Boxing Council super lightweight champion Jose Carlos Ramirez  will defend his crown against WBO champion Maurice Hooker, who also arrives undefeated, with 26 fights including 17 of KO`s.

The unification  fight will take place at the College Park Center in Arlington in Arlington, Texas on Saturday July 27th.

Ramírez (24-0 16 KOs) will defend his title for the third time after winning the vacant title at Madison Square Garden in New York in March 2018 against Amir Imam.

He`s  made two defenses in  his hometown of Fresno. He defeated Antonio Orozco on points in September 2018 and then a close fight with Jose Zepeda in February, retained his title by majority decision.

Hooker (26-0-3 17 KOs)  fights on home turf in Dallas for the first time as world champion.
