World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman and Mexico`s Sports Minister  Ana Gabriela Guevara, presented a very special recognition to Humberto “Chiquita” Gonzalez who`s brought so much pride to Mexico with his fabulous fights, light flyweight championship and now further success as a promoter.   

The Great “Chiquita” was presented with the WBC bracelet, a unique recognition.                                                                                                                                  

Humberto received this great gift with deep appreciation  because for him, wearing  this wrist sized recognition of the Green and Gold belt represents the passion for the sport that changed his life.

Small of stature, with a giant spirit and an ability to punch far above his weight category, Chiquita aptly quipped that this belt is: “Just my size!”
