The first-ever World Boxing Council Middle East title will be contested on the undercard of this weekend’s  Anthony Joshua/Any Ruiz rematch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The inaugural WBC regional championship title clash will witness Saudi Arabian boxer Zuhayr Al-Qahtani (7-0-0) take on Kuwaiti pugilist Omar Dusary (7-0-1) for the WBC Middle East lightweight title.

Zuhayr hit the scales at 133.5 pounds, while Dusary came in at 130 pounds.
