Katie Taylor (12-0) vs Rose Volante (14-0)

Olympic gold-medalist Katie Taylor dressed in the gold and black is defending her IBF and WBA Lightweight  Championship against  Braziel Rose Volante  dressed in the gold and red who has her WBO Lightweight Championship on the line.

Volante ranked #13 on Boxing Action Magazine P4P list comes out in the first round being very aggressive and walks into Boxing Action Magazine #1 P4P Female Boxer -Katie Taylor’s right Hand. Volante gets up and stays aggressive. Volante has a good second round against the Great Taylor.

The 36 year old Volante slowed down in the third round trying to counter and time the much faster and younger Taylor.

Katie’s Taylor dominates rounds 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Taylor has the fight in  Cruise control, but Volante does come out throwing power shots in the 7th round and seems a bit more relaxed.

8th Round. Taylor’s energy is stuff of legend. She is throwing so many stiff punches. Volante has no quit in her, she came to fight tonight.

Referee stops the fight in the 9th. Good Stoppage.

Katie Taylor adds another world Title  to her collection and Remains the number 1 pound for pound women’s Boxer in the World.
