Tugstsogt Nyambayar is Boxing Action Magazine’s Boxer of the Month.

First off congratulations to Mr. Gary Russell Jr. for an outstanding performance and victory on Saturday February 8th at the PPL Center and live on Showtime. Russell successfully defended his featherweight title using his entire repertoire of defense, hand speed, IQ and sometimes aggression. It was a spectacular performance most worthy of the Sweet Science.

Also congratulations to Tyson Fury in regaining the heavyweight championship of the world back in dominant fashion on the biggest stage of all and keeping the Zero on his record. Fury’s inspirational story is for the record books.

Also a big congratulations to Mikey Garcia for proving many people wrong and fighting at winning at welterweight at the highest level- What a Warrior!!!

Also Roman Gonzalez showed the world this past Saturday why he was the #1 P4P boxer on the planet for years. At age 32, Gonzalez is still top 10 P4P and best in his weight class.

Now Boxing Action Magazine would like to congratulate Mongolia’s Tugstsogt Nyambayar for a sensational performance, Tugstsogt Nyambayar fight style and toughness reminds me of a young Gennadiy Golovkin or Marcos Maidana.

After being out of the ring for over a year and at only only 27 years old, many would have thought this world title fight on this huge stage would be a bit much for him. Sometimes fighters try to do to much, exerting heavy amounts of energy early or in the later part of a round, but Tugstsogt held his own, fought like a true champion and in the second half of the fight was finally able to overcome Russell’s tremendous speed and do his thing.

Tugstsogt Nyambayar ate a lot of leather and kept on coming, his pose and professionalism impressed the heck out of all the boxing media and fans. Tugstsogt Nyambayar has a bright future in the boxing game and many fans are very excited to see this young warrior back in the ring soon.
