World Boxing Council flyweight champion, British Charlie Edwards, will defend his crown on Saturday August 31st, against Mexican Julio César Martínez (14-1-0, 11 Ko’s) at the O2 Arena in London.

This show stopper  will be part of the card starring Ukrainian Vasiliy Lomachenko versus local Luke Campbell.

Edwards (15-1-0, 12 Ko’s), who is extra motivated to make the second defense of the green and gold belt, is already training meticulously for this important commitment.

Charlie comes from defeating Spanish Angel Moreno, by unanimous decision, in his first title defense.
