Four division superstar Juan Manuel Marquez, who`s an icon of Mexican and World Boxing is helping his Son Aldo launch a brand new Promotions company and their core ambition is to develop an Absolute World Champion.

Anything Juan Manuel Marquez sets his mind to, in the World of Boxing, is an astute well thought out  triumph.   In his first encounter with Manny Pacquiao he got up from three eye watering knockdowns in the first round, overcame this considerable setback, adapted and brilliantly fought his way to a draw. In their  fourth and final encounter he knocked Manny unconscious with one second remaining in the sixth round, declining to repeat perfection…even for a hundred million dollars!  His son Aldo, is a chip off the block viz savvy and iron determination, and with the old man onboard as well, Father and Son are on to a surefire winner.

Showing unity and solidarity World Boxing Council President was sitting next to Juan Manuel at Mexico City`s Prime Time Restaurant and Bar.  There were films of “Dinamita” training at altitude in Desierto de Leones National Park. Rather than igniting volcanic boulders in the way of his two hours training run, he was actually picking them up and throwing them out of the way!

For a man who`s earned millions with fists while keeping his wits about him. Also training in accountancy and investing wisely in property, Marquez Promotions is a well thought out venture which is right on the button!  Juan says that within five years he and Aldo will nurture and bring to fruition a world champion.  He says the ambition drawing on his wealth of experience, is to bring fans great and well matched fights, which will be screened by Teleformula, giving opportunities to young talent, which he and the Team has the expertise to  identify and burnish to brilliance.

From the supreme example set by his beloved Father Don Jose, Mauricio told the packed press conference just how motivating it is for Dad and Lad to be working shoulder to shoulder, saying that in this exciting full of promise venture he`s convinced that it`ll bring very special moments, giving sincere thanks to have been given the opportunity to be on hand to witness the birth of a new company.

Marquez Promocions already has an important television foothold thanks to Arturo Gonzalez Orduno, who`s the Director General of Teleformula, which will be screening their fights.  The company has a strong platform  in Mexico and is steadily increasing its presence in the United States.  He said: “This marriage is signed with honesty and credibility on the table.”

Promoter Carlos Gonzalez Madrigal said this has been dream for years and it`s geared for the fans, bringing them the excitement and promise of young boxing talent, with which Mexico is so blessed.

Aldo said: “This is a great plan and we WILL work for success!”

The first fight night of Marquez Promociones is July 12th in Ocoyoacac, Estado de Mexico.
