American immortal, Tony Canzoneri, made his pro debut with a victory over Jack Grodner in the very first round. The oh so brief skirmish was at the Arena Rockaway Beach in Queens New York. Canzoneri would conquer world titles in three different weight categories- featherweight, lightweight and super lightweight.
